EXTRA ORDINARY EXPERIENCE IN BOLINAO

Last February 14,2014 I spend my Valentines Day travelling and exploring the beauty of Bolinao . As we arrived at 1:44am and wait for the sun rise at Patar White Beach which is actually the most famous tourist spot beach resort in Bolinao . We tried to get some shells , and walked beyond the seaside . Since its low tide we find it easily to see the sea creatures that only can found in Bolinao . And its pretty amazing to feel the white sand . The Good thing in Bolinao is they have 15 Beach Resorts and 3 Caves which you can spend your vacation ,family gathering , Friends outing and many more .The beaches are Patar White Beach, Punta Riviera , Puerto Del Sol ,Villa Soledad , Rock Garden ,Ilog Molino , Holy Land resort,Casa Almarenzo Bed and Breakfast,Bing’s Beach Resort , Treasures of Bolinao Beach resort, and Rock view Beach Resort. And three caves are Wonderful Cave, Enchanted cave, and Cindy’s cave . But the Bad thing you have to encounter before you experienced those amazing Spots is the Road which is not yet well finished . You should anticipate that your tires will be flatten . My best experience in my first day is planting Mangrove (Bakawan)which was founded by Gov.Amado Espino Jr. The care taker of the Nursery Mangrove was Mr. Ruben Espino give us some explanation about the benefits of Mangrove in Bolinao . He also teach us to plant Mangrove. Then after planting Mangrove under the heat of the sun . We asked tatay Ruben is its okay to him that we will try Balsa . Then he just let us to experience the Balsa . After experiencing the Nursery , 2hours of long drive from the Mangrove before you reached the two Bolinao Falls . The Bolinao 1is open for public no entrance and no fees for the coutages.Water is clear and it lokk likes paradise. Theres no one diving and staying ,we’re the only one`s there for quite a while. However when we started swimming i noticed that there were few garbages left by the previous visitors. I hope the management will be more strict when it comes to maintenance and they might want to provide garbage cans so tourists wont leave their trashes. And It feels like something mysterious. But we don’t know the hidden mystery behind the bolinao 1 maybe it was just the trashes we saw. So we have to transfer to Bolinao 2 where can feel the cold water , the falls and the people, though it has fee for the coutages .Theres a good ambience in Bolinao 2 unlike to Bolinao 1. To complete the journey on our second day staying in Bolinao . We begin the day visiting some Beach Resorts . And the first Beach Resorts that entertain us is the Punta Riviera . There are accommodating rooms and catering where you can spend your vacation .The Manager of Punta Riviera is Mr. Mark Anjo. He let us conduct an interview and some questions that he know about Bolinao .He opens to us that the owner of the resort is not a Filipino citizen and it’s a private property .He give some basic information when it was founded and the origin of Bolinao . It derived from Point of River , which means the connection of the Beach and the River. He let us try to experience the Kaya-king for free and its an extra-ordinary experience for us unlike the balsa that we tried in Nursery Mangrove . After the unexplainable experience in Punta Riviera we went to Enchanted Cave the owner is Aurora Jimenez she also let us see the natural of the cave and like the other places we have been she briefs us the history of Enchanted Cave . It is amazing in pictures but it felt surreal to be there. The cave gave the ambiance of being in a magical world. The emerald colored water is very clean, cold and refreshing .The management did a good job in maintaining the place. No garbages can be seen in the area. Next we experience the cool water of Cindy’s Cave .There are a few steps down to the entrance to the cave, then it is like entering another world. Inside the cave was very dark, even with our torches and the air in the cave was cool and damp, very refreshing after our long long hot drive. The pool inside the cave is crystal clear, very cool and refreshing. The water was very shallow by the steps and you can walk across the pool to the other side of the cave, the water was about waist high, so deep enough to swim and shallow enough to walk. Our guide was keen to tell us the history of the cave, they had found Chinese pottery in there dating back to the 12th Century and we could see corals in the cave from when the whole area was below seawater. After an hour or so relaxing in the cool water, enjoying the natural beauty and peace inside the cave. We really enjoyed our visit to Cindy's cave and would highly recommend, a really interesting cave with so much history and natural beauty. Before we end our second day in Bolinao we won’t allow not to see the second tallest lighthouse in the Philippines overlooking the West Philippine Sea. A stunning view from the top of the lighthouse would be great but unfortunately its not accessible to go up because its not open to public and we notice that there are vandalisms inside the light house that maybe there’s no one managing to maintain the beauty of it . A perfect view to take pictures and stay until sunset But we decided to spend the sunset in Patar White Beach so after picture taking , buying souviners and sightseeing we travel 20 mins before the sunset . Patar White Beach is the most famous beach in Bolinao with a powdery crystal sand and cool refreshing water it is also affordable to accommodate some cottages along the beach side. Mind you it is also the perfect spot for some photographers to take shots like wait until sunset.
